Freestyle, Speed & Creativity on Fehmarn
From September 25–27, 2026, the island of Fehmarn hosted the very first SEND IT Wingfoil Clash – AIR & CROSS, bringing together more than 50 riders for three days of action, creativity, and competition.
Hosted at AHOI Camp Fehmarn and supported by DUOTONE, the event introduced two exciting competition formats: a specially developed Wingfoil Boardercross and a unique Freestyle competition combining Big Air, Surf Style, and New School/Wakestyle.
Boardercross – Speed, Skills & Strategy
The Boardercross competition brought a fresh approach to wingfoil racing. Riders battled their way around a specially designed course where speed, technical skills, and tactical decisions were equally important.
With exciting head-to-head battles and tight racing, the format delivered plenty of action for both competitors and spectators.
Freestyle – More Than Just Big Air
The Freestyle competition took a different approach from traditional wingfoil events.
Instead of several riders competing simultaneously, each competitor had four minutes on the water alone, giving the five judges the opportunity to focus entirely on their performance.
And it wasn’t just about landing the biggest tricks. Creativity, style, variety, and overall impression played an important role in the scoring.
This encouraged riders to think outside the box, mixing impressive jumps with stylish gybes, seated foiling, surf-inspired moves, and other creative manoeuvres rarely seen in conventional freestyle competitions.
The result was an entertaining showcase of just how diverse and creative modern wingfoiling has become.

A Great Setting for a New Wingfoil Event
With AHOI Camp providing the event location on Fehmarn and DUOTONE supporting the competition as main sponsor, the Wingfoil Clash brought riders, spectators, and the wingfoil community together for a weekend dedicated to the sport.
The combination of innovative competition formats, a relaxed atmosphere, and a shared passion for wingfoiling made the first edition of the SEND IT Wingfoil Clash a memorable event.
